Austin ISD

Austin ISD educates approximately 84,000 students and embraces 130 diverse school communities in one of the fastest-growing, ever-changing metroplexes in the country. Approximately 25% of our students are English Language Learners, 52% are economically disadvantaged, and approximately 10% receive special education supports. There are over 100 languages spoken in AISD. The district has Campus Based Counseling Referral Centers at 17 campuses, provides Parent Support Specialists at over 70 campuses, offers 7 Family Resource Centers, and is moving forward in becoming a trauma informed district.
